These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the basis on which Chaopraya Family ("we", "our", "us") provides family law counsel services and operates this website. Please read them carefully. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Our Services
Chaopraya Family provides family law counsel services, including but not limited to:
- Quiet Counsel Appointments — private consultation sessions for clients with developing family matters.
- Separation Agreement Counsel — assistance in preparing and reviewing written separation agreements.
- Family Matters Across Multiple Jurisdictions — coordination of matters that involve more than one legal system or country.
The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. No counsel-client relationship is formed through the use of this website alone.
2. Engagement of Services
A formal counsel engagement begins when both parties have agreed in writing to the scope of work and associated fees. Until that agreement is reached, any information exchanged in the course of preliminary enquiries does not create a binding obligation on either side.
We reserve the right to decline to take on any matter at our discretion, including where a conflict of interest exists or where we do not consider ourselves the appropriate counsel for the matter in question.
3. Fees and Payment
Our published service fees apply to the specific scope described in each service listing. Fees are payable in Thai Baht (฿) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Quiet Counsel Appointment: ฿2,500 per session.
- Separation Agreement Counsel: ฿4,600 for the standard scope.
- Family Matters Across Multiple Jurisdictions: from ฿8,200 depending on scope and jurisdictions involved.
Where a matter requires work beyond the standard scope, we will discuss any variation in fees with you before proceeding. Invoices are payable within the timeframe specified on each invoice.
4. Confidentiality
We treat all information shared with us in the course of an engagement as confidential. We will not disclose it to third parties except as required by law, with your consent, or where necessary to carry out the work you have instructed us to do (for example, sharing information with counsel in another jurisdiction who is assisting with your matter).
5. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from the provision of our services is limited to the fees paid by you in respect of the specific matter to which the claim relates. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
This limitation does not apply to losses caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
6. Website Use
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not use it in any way that interferes with its operation, infringes any intellectual property rights, or is likely to harm another person.
The content of this website is provided for general information only. Whilst we take reasonable care to keep it accurate and current, we make no representations about its completeness or accuracy and accept no liability for reliance placed upon it.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, design, and structure, is the property of Chaopraya Family or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our written permission.

9. Complaints and Disputes
If you have a concern about the service you have received, we ask that you contact us in the first instance at [email protected] so that we may address it directly. We take all feedback seriously and will aim to respond within five working days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, these Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Phuket Province.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page, with the date of the last revision indicated. Continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
